I have noticed over past several real days pain when I sit down getting progressively worse. I looked in mirror today and at the peak of butt crack i have some sort of swollen cyst or blister or something tht appears to be infected. I am wondering if cutting open and draining the milky liquid (tht has a terrible unexplainable smell) so as to try and help kill infection.

I had sex 17 days ago. 2 months ago I did an egg donation and the hormones really took a toll on my body and my birth control wasn't helping. 3 days ago I stopped taking my birth control all together to get my period started (1 week before the sugar pill week). Do I need to worry about pregnancy even though the last time I had sex was 17 days ago? All the tests are negative.

My blood work came in. My creatinine is 1.73 My B1 is 25 and my GFR is 47. My sense from leaning on line is that this is below average, but not a red danger zone yet? I think they are talking about dialsys starting around 5.0 for creatine? Does that sound about right? I have had PKD for 10 years, but just recently got blood work done. I have an appoinment with my kidney doc in two weeks---just wanted to get a doctors quick (non binding) opinion of the bloodwork numbers. Below average, but not scary yet? Does that sound about right?

I had my prostate examined today and the Urologist feels no prostatitis. My urine is clean, but they did send it out for a culture. I have been having chills without fever for weeks and some tingling in my feet. I had a comprehensive blood exam and the only test that was a little low was the lymphocytes at 800. It seems I could have an infection somewhere, or the medications I have taken in the last 4 weeks, off and on, Bactrim, Dexilant, Antivan, Advil, Tylenol, a muscle relaxer, and a lot of supplements. My lymphocytes have always been on the low end, but never below the normal. How does anxiety play a part in all this?

Gastroenterology Problem; For one month I have experienced a change in bowel motion and have experienced Abdominal Colic with gas and changes between Diarrhea and Constipation. Also, a change in stool consistency from normal to tiny round pellets. I had a stool examination and was told that I am experiencing undigested food. Now I have this gelatin like tissue with no smell, This is not mucus as I am an Anesthesiologist and can differentiate between gelatin like substance and mucus. My food intake is mostly fiber. I do not have Lactose Intolerance. I am in Iraq so good medical care here is very limited. Thank you for any assistance.

I have had two bouts of bad diarrhea followed by some passing of blood within the last year. Have had a virtual colonoscopy about eighteen months ago. My gp says i have significant raised calprotectin and this can either mean I have crowns or colitis - he says it can't be cancer. I have looked online and raised calprotectin can mean a cancer too - please could you advised as I am having to wait over a week for the speciaist to return. I am now worried I have cancer.

I have been managing my cholesterol using diet, exersise, and natural substances. I have a local doctor that I have consulted in the past and have tried a veriety of statin drugs that I have had side effects with including Crestor, and provastatin. Since Lipitor has gone generic, I would like to try a 10mg dose and test my results with a local low cost lab service. I don't want to visit my local doctor just to pay $170 for him to write a prescription. Can I get an internet doctor to write the script? My local pharmacy has FREE atorvistatin.

I had a HIV Rapid Test at the Emergency Room 20 days after unprotected sex and a HIV anitbody test 8 weeks and a day (57 days) and they both came back negative. What are my chances of being truly HIV negative?

Hi it is a new chat with you

my girlfriend had a really bad UTI for about 3 weeks. Also, she has been bloated for 2 weeks with back pain. Her UTI was diagnosed by a medical assistant from her urine sample. However, the burning has gone away but bloating and discomfort have not.
