I had sex 17 days ago. 2 months ago I did an egg donation and the hormones really took a toll on my body and my birth control wasn't helping. 3 days ago I stopped taking my birth control all together to get my period started (1 week before the sugar pill week). Do I need to worry about pregnancy even though the last time I had sex was 17 days ago? All the tests are negative.
I am on birth control (tricyclen) and am currently taking Augmentin for UTI. I began having some spotting mid cycle then my normal period while on the placebo week. I finish the Augmentin tomorrow and begin my new pill pack on Sunday. My doctor told me I wouldn't need a backup method while on Augmentin, I would only need one if I experienced nausea or diarrhea, which I have not.
My husband and I had sex this morning, no condoms. My period has ended and I begin my new pill pack on Sunday. What are the odds that my pill could have been affected by the Augmentin? Is it safe to say that a backup method wasn't needed? Will I be fully protected again once I start my new pill pack? Information on this subject seems to be so varied from person to person it's hard to understand.
I am female, 31 years old, 5'10" tall, and about 330lbs. A co-worker of mine is "training" me on Crossfit, but I am not sure that it is exactly safe for someone of my weight. The first day out, he had me running up and down a hall, and then up four flights of stairs, and I could not complete it. I do not have days in between to rest, as he has me working out everyday, and by the third day, I could barely move (i.e. could hardly walk, get into bed, etc.) and he said this was a good thing. I am afraid if I keep doing this workout that I will suffer some serious medical problems. Bottom line, is Crossfit a safe exercise for people who are considered morbidly obese like myself?
I was like a month pregnant and they had did a paptest on me and noticed it and froze it off and nothing was said further and it never came back during my pregnancy or my delivery. I delivered have a vaginal delivery no problem had one stich and I don't have any discomfort or itching I don't ever notice it really but I know that it's there it does itch sometimes but very rarely... and I have read that you aren't suppose to do that if you had herpes so that made me a little bit nervous. How do i tell the difference between a wart and a skin tag? Also i do have hemorrhoids still from my pregnancy that was 2 and half years ago that I wish was gone but it could be one of those? I have attached a couple more pictures, hopefully you'll be able to see it more clearly. Thank you so much for all your information, it's defiantly making me feel alot better.
DID I CAUSE MY GRANDSON TO GET SICK?
2 weeks ago, my husband had a bad cough and felt very tired. Those were his only symptoms, and it lasted for almost a week. He?s better now, but I never got sick? those symptoms or any other. At the end of that week, I attended my son's 31st birthday gathering at a restaurant with 8 adults and my 3 month old grandson. Because my husband had been sick, I was asked to not touch my grandson, so I didn't. I sat next to my son and for a few minutes he held my grandson, during which time I talked and cooed to him. I was very close to my grandson, but I never touched him. I certainly didn't cough or sneeze, but I was close to him for several minutes. Most of the other people at this restaurant gathering touched and held and kissed my grandson many times.
2 or 3 days later my grandson got sick with a cough and runny nose, and later with upset stomach, throwing up, and even some blood in his stool! We're all very concerned and my son and his wife have been to their doctor more than once.
But the question is? Could I have caused my grandson to get sick because I had been in the same house as my coughing husband?
Or is it more likely that someone who touched the restaurant doorknobs and chairs and table and menu AND my grandson is the source of my grandson's sickness?
I had asked and had answered a question earlier concerning loss of smell. I have had trouble with my voice since the winter when the nose issues began. I had used decongestants proscribed by doctor to combat what he thought was sinus infection. It wasn't. This started in January. Since then I have had issues with my voice. At first it was just raspy as the day when on and cracked sometimes. After 5 weeks I stopped the decongestants when I noticed my throat was dry. I was until two weeks ago a smoker. ENT said two months ago laryngitis and vocal fatigue and referred me to a voice therapist. Symptoms worsening. Due to nose issues I have to breathe through my mouth mainly. At first it was fine in the morning and then worse through the day. Now it is still best in the morning but no longer clear and very quickly turns raspy and painful to speak. It is holding me back from full time work. I have taken care last few months to drink plenty of water. What can you suggest to help me recover from these issues?
I have been managing my cholesterol using diet, exersise, and natural substances. I have a local doctor that I have consulted in the past and have tried a veriety of statin drugs that I have had side effects with including Crestor, and provastatin. Since Lipitor has gone generic, I would like to try a 10mg dose and test my results with a local low cost lab service. I don't want to visit my local doctor just to pay $170 for him to write a prescription. Can I get an internet doctor to write the script? My local pharmacy has FREE atorvistatin.
